Chijioke Anosike is a Christian and former student at the London School of Economics (LSE), where he studied an MSc in Regional and Urban Planning Studies – writing a dissertation on the potential of meanwhile (vacant) land to provide affordable housing.
In addition to his studies, Chijioke has previously worked as a researcher for a London based urban-tech data analysis start up and currently works within Urban Planning. He is interested in how technology can help cities, and particularly how the use of alternative technology such as pre-fabricated housing could alleviate affordable housing shortages. He created AltUrban, a not-for-profit forum that aims to educate young people about prop -tech through a mixture of creative content & events.
Chijioke has an interest in how policy can better encourage entrepreneurship, especially for those from underrepresented groups. He has acted as a mentor and worked with young people in various capacities, and loves seeing young people holistically develop.
